Leslie Brown

BA, MSFM, RPF, SAS

Leslie joined B.A. Blackwell and Associates in 2017 after graduating from the Master of Sustainable Forest Management Program at the University of British Columbia. Leslie's previous educational experience includes an undergraduate degree in Environmental Geography with distinction from Simon Fraser University. In her role as a professional forester at B.A. Blackwell, Leslie has been involved in a range of wildfire management and risk reduction projects for the provincial government, municipal governments, corporations, and First Nations throughout BC. She has also conducted silviculture surveys primarily in the BC Interior and has assisted in a variety of urban forestry projects in the Lower Mainland. More recently, Leslie has been involved in landscape and site level fertilization planning, prescription development, and implementation for the purposes of carbon sequestration and timber supply mitigation. Leslie is an Accredited Silviculture Surveyor, accredited wildlife danger tree assessor, and a Registered Professional Forester.
